About

Akka Hamdan is a visual arts student, member of local folk dance troupe Majdal. In 2019, Akka performed in an original theater piece, “Up to the light“, directed by theatre director, puppeteer and musician, Husam Abed. In the same year, she has performed in an experimental street performance mixing physical theatre with object theatre, called “Last Party at Baqaá Camp”directed by Husam Abed and choreographed by Ryuji Yamaguchi. And lately she’s taking part in a physical theater play called “Ella Ant” by director Majd Al-Qasas.
